Our farm wouldn’t exist without you! In addition to providing fresh produce for your family, we believe in educating our community on why agriculture is vital to our society and ways you can support your local growers. We proudly offer various learning opportunities for students, school clubs, future farmers, church groups, and summer camps to visit Pierce Century Farm.
Bees, Trees, & Gardens…Oh my
During our spring season, we showcase our blossoming orchard, teach about the pollination process, and see how our spring planting prepares our farm for the season! Teaching topics include bees, honey, and pollination to learn about the harmonious relationship that creates the delicious fruit we enjoy in the fall.
Farm to Fork
Students visiting during our fall season will be able to enjoy a hayride through our apple orchard and pumpkin patch. Groups will have the option of taking home freshly picked apples or pumpkins. We will learn how our food starts off as a tiny seed and makes it way to your dinner table. Students will be able to experience a variety of freshly picked produce in addition to enjoying a fun time through our corn maze!
Calling all Farmers
Let’s get to work! In our summer months, our farm is buzzing with activity as we gather fresh garden produce each day. Join us as we check in on our cattle herd and learn how to pick a perfect pepper (or tomato!). Come dressed in your farm clothes to see up close right where your food is coming from!
Educational Events
We welcome you to attend our specialty events to share our farm with you! We are open to the public for our annual Johnny Appleseed Day and Homeschool Family Day. Due to the educational nature of these events, we do require reservations to attend.
We look forward to hosting you!
